About
ILYA SICKO (1994)
Photographer / Artist
Born in Belarus in 1994, Ilya Sicko discovered a passion for art and travel, leading him to the US and Hawaii. Amidst the islands' stunning beauty and the kaleidoscope of global faces, his journey as a portrait and street photographer found its unique signature-capturing moments in timeless film. Choosing film photography over digital, Ilya's work evokes a nostalgic charm. Each click immortalizes emotions beyond the immediacy of pixels. Through the tactile nature of the film, he preserves the authenticity of moments, infusing each frame with a depth that resonates across generations. In Ilya's hands, film isn't just a medium; it's a conduit that perpetuates emotions and stories, transcending the ephemeral to embrace the enduring beauty of capturing moments in a timeless, tangible form.
In Hawaii he has worked with some of the hotels, restaurants, models as well as influential local brands and now focusing on his first exhibit to be announced later this year in Oahu and then in NY.
